There’s not much I can say about the magical day that was Kathleen and Matthew’s wedding, that doesn’t seem pale and insignificant next to the beauty of Ben Sowry’s photos from the day. He captured all the love, joy, time, effort and planning that went into making it magical. And it was all the inspired dream and hard work of the beautiful bride and her amazing team of helpers.
It looked gloomily like it might rain on Amanda and Julian’s wedding day. They’d opted for an al fresco wedding, so we were all feeling a little nervous for them. But if Amanda and Julian were, it didn’t show. They were relaxed, happy and looking forward to their big day, whatever the weather.
The gorgeous Laura and Ross fell in love with Willow Farm the moment they saw it. It fitted perfectly into their vision of the wedding of their dreams. Glamorous, relaxed and a truck load of fun. And that’s exactly what it was.
It was the first wedding of the year, a balmy Friday in February, when Maddy and Jamie came to Willow Farm for their dreamy summer wedding.
We love all our couples here at Willow Farm – let’s be honest, the prospect of a farm wedding in a rusty shed tends to attract some pretty cool people. But occasionally, there’s a bride or groom that really stands out as something special, and when bride-to-be Steff joked about climbing a ladder in heels on her wedding day, we knew we’d stumbled upon a bit of a legend.
We like to think of ourselves as a blank canvas kind of venue here at Willow Farm. There’s no one way to do things. It really is up to you. So, with that in mind, here are our favourite Willow Farm spots, to tie the knot.
‘The Party Shed’ at Willow Farm has witnessed wet weather wedding ceremonies, concerts, fundraisers, workshops and some serious dance floor shenanigans at many a wedding reception. Wedding after wedding we are amazed at how beautiful it can look when our clever couples put their individual style to it.
It was a beautiful, sunny, May afternoon when lovebirds Laila and Dave came to say their I do’s. And thanks to the team at Special Event Planners and the lovely Erin from South Coast Party hire, the farm was looking ah-mazing.
Oh my joy! This wedding. Words do not do it justice. Along came Bridie and Luke, two gorgeous lovebirds whose hearts were just singing with joy when we first met them. Together with their talented friends they created the most divine wedding, full of song, and laughter, and just teeming with love.
Gorgeous (almost) local couple Hanna and Cale tied the knot on a steamy February afternoon in the most beautiful, relaxed, love-filled ceremony you could possibly imagine.
