The story of Willow Farm Berry
Ideally situated between the delightful village of Berry and the gloriously wild Seven Mile Beach, Willow Farm has long been considered one of the prettiest farms on the NSW South Coast. A dairy farm since the pioneering days of Alexander Berry, dairying continued at Willow Farm until the early 1990s when the switch was made to beef cattle.
With a dream of living in the country, writing books and growing their own food, Mark Whittaker and Amy Willesee made their South Coast tree-change from Sydney in 2006, taking over from Amy’s mum Carol, who had worked her magic with a beautiful farmhouse renovation.
With their three young children, Mark and Amy now raise grassfed beef and sheep, grow vegies and juggle writing with the occasional yoga class. And of course take time out to skim pebbles in storybook Broughton Creek, which flows through the farm.
In recent years they have transformed a tractor shed into a stunning, light-filled yoga barn where regular classes are held overlooking the paddocks. Most recently they have opened the farm up for weddings and accommodation.
