Willow Farm, Berry wedding captured by Dan Cartwright Photography
It looked gloomily like it might rain on Amanda and Julian’s wedding day. They’d opted for an al fresco wedding (no marquee) so we were all feeling a little nervous for them. But if Amanda and Julian were, it didn’t show. They were relaxed, happy and looking forward to their big day, whatever the weather.
And their positivity paid off, the rain stayed away. And when the two precious little flower girls toddled carefree down the aisle, we all knew this wedding was going to be special.
Amanda and Julian choose the Jacaranda tree in the farmhouse garden, to hold their beautiful, love filled ceremony, using the Willow Farm’s arbour as an entrance gateway.
Dan Cartwright Photography captured the ceremony. A perennial fave at Willow Farm, he also took the gorgeous couple to all our favourite spots for their photos, and made the most of the most of the moody skies.
A big thank you to all three of them for letting us share some of their beautiful pictures.
Back to the wedding… It was a food truck and grazing table kind of feast with the team from 2 Smoking Barrels providing the burgers as well as the deliciously overflowing grazing tables. Beers were straight from the bar or bathtub, and Monica from Hoorah did an amazing job co-ordinating and styling the event. It was relaxed, happy and so gorgeously and elegantly simple. Exactly how it should be.
The party shed played witness to the speeches and the dancing. And oh was there dancing. With sparklers and love and laughter abounding.
Thank you Amanda and Julian for choosing Willow Farm. Your wedding was perfect. And we wish you a long and happy life together. x
